These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of juliamartin.co and any professional services offered through it, in accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and applicable EU law.

2. Services Offered

Through this website, Júlia Martín Albert offers the following professional services:

  • UX/UI Design: User experience and interface design for digital products.

  • Creative Strategy Sessions: Consultancy and ideation sessions focused on brand, content, and creative direction.

  • Consultancy & Pick My Brain: One-off advisory sessions for professionals and businesses seeking strategic input.

  • Creative Solutions: Bespoke creative problem-solving engagements.

  • MVP Prototypes: Minimum viable product design in Figma for online platforms and mobile/web applications.

All services are provided on a freelance, project-by-project basis and or/ a contractor contract. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees for each engagement are agreed in writing prior to commencement.

3. Enquiries and Engagement Process

To enquire about services, you must complete the contact form on the website, providing your name, email address, company name (if applicable), and a description of your enquiry.

Submitting a contact form does not constitute a contract or commitment by either party. A binding agreement is only formed when both parties have confirmed the scope and terms of a specific project in writing (e.g. via a signed proposal, statement of work, or email confirmation).

4. Pricing and Payment

All services are priced individually. Following an initial consultation, a custom quote or invoice will be issued. Payment is processed via bank transfer or Revolut link, as specified in the invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the following default payment terms apply:

  • TAX Vat + 21%"

  • Any other charges in case of currency changes. All my invoices are in EURO (€).

5. Intellectual Property

All original work created by Júlia Martín Albert — including but not limited to designs, prototypes, concepts, strategies, and written materials — is protected by Spanish Intellectual Property Law (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996) and applicable EU directives.

Upon full payment, the client receives a licence to use the agreed deliverables for the purposes defined in the project agreement. Full ownership transfer (assignment of rights) is only granted if explicitly agreed in writing and reflected in the invoice.

Júlia Martín Albert retains the right to display completed work in her portfolio unless the client requests otherwise in writing prior to project completion.

6. Client Responsibilities
You agree to:

  • Send all the documents, assets and information required to complete the task and project.

  • Be active and involved during all the stages of the project.

  • Pay on time. Usually 50% of the scope before working and 50% right before accepting the final result and the final version being sent to you.

You accept full responsibility for content you provide. Júlia Martín Albert accepts no liability for claims arising from client-supplied materials.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish law, Júlia Martín Albert's total liability for any claim arising from a project shall not exceed the fees paid for that specific project.

Júlia Martín Albert is not liable for: indirect or consequential losses; loss of revenue, profit, or opportunity; or damages arising from client decisions made on the basis of strategic advice.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Cancellation and Termination

Either party may terminate a project engagement with written notice. If the client cancels after work has commenced:

  • No refund will be done.

  • The work done may not be finalized nor sent to the client as it will be a work in progress and not fully finished.

Júlia Martín Albert reserves the right to decline or discontinue services if the client acts in breach of these Terms or in a manner that is unlawful, abusive, or contrary to professional standards.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Barcelona, Spain, unless mandatory consumer protection rules in your jurisdiction provide otherwise.

10. Changes to These Terms
Júlia Martín Albert may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
